The effectiveness of any church can be measured by its impact on the community.  We believe that to “have friends we must be friendly” which means that we must spread God’s love beyond the walls of our building.   The Missions and Outreach Ministry work tirelessly to help those who are in needs.  Our outreach extends internationally as well, through missions trips to foreign countries.

 

Missions Ministry- Volunteers do missions work in Africa and other Caribbean countries to repair houses and to distribute supplies (clothing, personal hygiene, etc.) to orphanages, nursing homes, schools and other churches.

 

Outreach Ministry - We recognize that at times everyone needs a helping hand.  We offer assistance to those in need through:

 

• Prison outreach

• Nursing home/hospital visitations

• Community health fairs

• Back to school giveaways

• Community Fun Day

• Donations to homeless shelters

• CPR/First Aid courses

• Self-defense and domestic violence education workshops

• Job fairs

• Town Hall Meeting with elected officials

• Free blood pressure and diabetes screening.

• Thanksgiving giveaways
